Referrals

There's no need for GP referrals or Mental Health Care Plans to begin your journey with us. Self referrals are also welcome and encouraged.

Payments

Payment can be made via EFTPOS (preferred) on the day. Invoices can also be issued with payment required within 7 days. Medicare rebates will be processed within 1 business day of payment and the rebate should be in your nominated account within 24 hours.

Appointment Cancellations

As a small business, I need to fill appointment times to cover my every day costs. Your time is so important to me and I hope you feel the same about mine. Clients who have been with me for some time will be aware, that I always try to go above and beyond in providing an exceptional service.

This means additional services like emails, SMS's and short phone calls at no extra cost to you. As such, your efforts in respecting my time and this cancellation policy is appreciated.

• 24 Hours Notice - Cancellations require minimum 24 hours notice (although more time is appreciated) otherwise a cancellation fee will be incurred.
• 24 Hour Cancellation Fee - The standard fee for cancellations within 24 hours is $100
• 4 Hour Cancellation Fee - Cancelling within 4 hours or being a "no-show" means the full appointment fee will be charged
• Future Appointments - Please note, no further appointments will be able to be booked / attended if cancellation fees are not paid.
• Exceptions - Cancellation fees may be waived under exceptional circumstances at the full discretion of MHR.
• Rebates - There is no medicare rebate for cancellations fees and it does not contribute to the medicare safety net.

APPOINTMENT Fees and Costs

• Bulk Billing - This is not available
• Initial Consultations - These are 90 minutes for $360
• Ongoing Consultations - These are 60 minutes for $220
• Long Appointments - These are available upon request at 90 minutes for $330
• Medication Review/Brief Check-In - 30 minutes for $110
• Other Fees - Examples of some other fees may that may apply include: cancellations, script requests outside appointment times, report writing etc.
• Medicare Rebates -  $54.85 until safety net is reached
• There is no limit on how many appointments you can have in a 12 month period and still receive the rebate
• Out of pocket costs drastically reduce once the safety net is reached. This can be checked on your medicare app (under "Safety Net"). Once reached, 80% of your appointment fee is covered by Medicare.
